I am excited to share that my leadership skills were recognised among the network of British entrepreneurs and I won Leader of the Year at the Made in Britain Impact Awards 2023.
I am deeply grateful to Made in Britain for their unwavering support in fostering growth, and to the talented Tratos employees for their continuous contribution to making Tratos a worldwide reputable high-quality cable manufacturer.
Made in Britain Impact Awards are a prestigious collection of manufacturing awards that are exclusively open to all members of Made in Britain. These awards are in their second year and have already given British businesses the chance to share their success stories and get recognized within their industry and manufacturing sector.
There were distinct categories of the Impact Awards 2023 that have focused on the measurable success of manufacturing business in marketing, sales, sustainability, green and good business, team leadership, and innovation.
The Leader of the Year category unequivocally acknowledges senior executives who exhibit exceptional leadership in manufacturing and serve as champions for sustainable business across their sector.
In presenting the award to Prof Bragagni, the panellist judge Minnie Moll, Chief Executive of Design Council, said “Professor Bragagni’s visionary leadership has been the driving force that has propelled Tratos UK Ltd to unparalleled growth and resounding success, reinvigorating the cable manufacturing sector. The organisation has significantly expanded its presence across Europe and won the 2019 Queen’s Award for Innovation.” She also praised my leadership skills as Honorary Consul of San Marino to the UK and Chairman of the Esharelife Foundation.
Receiving this prestigious award is a great source of motivation for me and the entire Tratos team. This recognition boosts my determination to continue our ongoing mission to revitalise the cable manufacturing sector. This award not only validates the dedication and hard work of Tratos’s entire team but also strengthens our commitment to sustainable and innovative practices within the industry. It reinforces our promise to preserve and promote the values and quality associated with the Made in Britain label.
Being recognised as Leader of the Year at the Made in Britain Impact Awards 2023 will further inspire me to continue my various endeavours in driving positive change in business, charitable works and international affairs.
