I am honoured to have been appointed Honorary Councillor of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the United Kingdom (ICCIUK) on 2 June 2025. This appointment is a meaningful recognition of my ongoing commitment to fostering stronger economic and cultural ties between Italy and the UK—two nations that have profoundly shaped both my personal journey and professional career.
As an entrepreneur and business leader with deep roots in a family enterprise, I have spent decades navigating the complexities of international trade and industrial innovation. My experience has taught me the value of resilience, vision, and collaboration in building successful businesses that not only generate economic value but also strengthen cross-border relationships. Leading a family business in the UK has given me a unique appreciation for the importance of long-term thinking, intergenerational stewardship, and integrity—principles that align closely with the mission of the ICCIUK.
I am grateful to President Alessandro Belluzzo and President-Elect Roberto Costa for extending this appointment and for their kind words acknowledging the value of my experience and perspective. I am committed to contributing actively to the Chamber’s strategic initiatives and helping shape its future direction as it continues to support Italian businesses operating in the UK and beyond.
