Since 2013, Dr Maurizio Bragagni is Chairman and CEO of Tratos Ltd, the manufacturing division of global cable maker Tratos Group. Tratos is an innovative international cable producer with factories in the UK and Italy, offices in five continents and customers worldwide, servicing the power, transport, shipping, communications and oil and gas industries.
With a turnover in excess of €350 million, it is one of the world’s largest independent cable manufacturers and is involved in many high-profile and technologically advanced projects across the globe
An Italian- British citizen, Dr Bragagni is based in the UK and has played a key role in building the family business into a multinational success story, including leading the globalisation of the company’s manufacturing capabilities.
Under his wise and strategic leadership, in April 2019, Tratos UK won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in recognition of its innovative work.
